1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the Scalcdisla website (scalcdisla.com) and our tourism services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

Scalcdisla is a Canadian tourism company operating under the laws of Ontario, Canada.
3. Service Description
Scalcdisla provides tourism services including but not limited to:
- Guided tours and excursions across Canada
- Travel planning and consultation services
- Accommodation and transportation arrangements
- Adventure and cultural experiences
- Custom itinerary planning
4. Booking and Payment Terms
4.1 Booking Process
- All bookings must be confirmed in writing
- A deposit of 25% is required to secure your reservation
- Full payment is due 30 days before the tour departure date
- Bookings made within 30 days of departure require immediate full payment
4.2 Payment Methods
- We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and certified checks
- All prices are in Canadian Dollars (CAD) unless otherwise specified
- Prices are subject to change until booking is confirmed
4.3 Additional Costs
- Taxes, fees, and gratuities may be additional unless specified
- Personal expenses and optional activities are not included
- Travel insurance is strongly recommended and available separately
5. Cancellation and Refund Policy
5.1 Client Cancellation
- 60+ days before departure: Full refund minus processing fee
- 30-59 days before departure: 50% refund
- Less than 30 days: No refund unless due to extenuating circumstances
- No-show: No refund
5.2 Company Cancellation
- We reserve the right to cancel tours due to insufficient enrollment
- Weather-related cancellations will receive full refund or alternative dates
- Force majeure events may result in cancellation with full refund
6. Travel Requirements and Responsibilities
6.1 Client Responsibilities
- Valid passport and necessary travel documents
- Appropriate travel insurance coverage
- Disclosure of medical conditions affecting travel
- Compliance with tour group guidelines and local laws
- Arrival at designated meeting points on time
6.2 Age and Fitness Requirements
- Minimum age requirements vary by tour
- Certain tours require specific fitness levels
- Medical clearance may be required for adventure activities
- Pregnant travelers must consult with medical professionals
7. Liability and Risk
7.1 Limitation of Liability
Scalcdisla's liability is limited to the cost of the tour. We are not responsible for:
- Acts of God, weather conditions, or natural disasters
- Political unrest, terrorism, or government actions
- Mechanical breakdowns or transportation delays
- Loss or damage to personal property
- Medical emergencies or pre-existing conditions
- Personal injury during optional activities
7.2 Risk Acknowledgment
Participants acknowledge that travel involves inherent risks and assume responsibility for their personal safety and belongings.
8. Changes and Modifications
- Itineraries may be modified due to weather, safety, or operational reasons
- We will make reasonable efforts to provide comparable alternatives
- No compensation for minor itinerary changes
- Client-requested changes may incur additional fees
9. Conduct and Behavior
We reserve the right to remove participants who:
- Endanger themselves or others
- Disrupt the tour experience for other participants
- Fail to follow guide instructions or safety protocols
- Engage in illegal activities
- Show disrespect to local customs or environments
No refund will be provided for removal due to inappropriate conduct.
10. Photography and Media
- Participants may be photographed during tours for promotional purposes
- By participating, you grant permission for use of your likeness
- Requests for exclusion from photography should be made in advance
- Professional photography services may be available for additional cost
11. Environmental Responsibility
Participants agree to:
- Follow Leave No Trace principles
- Respect wildlife and natural habitats
- Comply with park and conservation area regulations
- Support local conservation efforts
12. Intellectual Property
- All website content, logos, and materials are proprietary to Scalcdisla
- Unauthorized use or reproduction is prohibited
- Tour itineraries and route information are confidential
- Client testimonials may be used for marketing purposes
13. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration
- Ontario law governs these terms and any disputes
- Venue for legal proceedings is Toronto, Ontario
- Mediation will be attempted before formal legal action
14. Communication and Marketing
- We may send booking confirmations and trip updates via email
- Marketing communications require opt-in consent
- Emergency communications may be sent regardless of preferences
- You may unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time
15. Force Majeure
Scalcdisla is not liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions
- Pandemics, health emergencies, or government restrictions
- Political unrest, terrorism, or war
- Transportation strikes or mechanical failures
- Supplier bankruptcies or service interruptions
16. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
17. Amendments
These terms may be updated periodically. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes. Significant changes will be communicated via email or website notice.
